A time for reflection

Dear friends,

This year has been like no other. Looking down the high street at the catastrophic effects of COVID-19 is a sobering moment, and one we are likely to have to continue to deal with as the costs of the fallout continue to grow.

It is in this context that I would like to share some thoughts with you on behalf of our Chairman and our Board of Directors as we commemorate the last decade.

First and foremost, we would like to sincerely thank our team for what has already been done to weather this crisis and to get our company both prepared to cope and to proactively deal with the on-going situation throughout the year. I would also like to thank our clients and our suppliers for their continued trust in us; your commitment to us makes all the difference.

We would also like to reassure you that as a company we are resilient. Since we started the business from our living rooms and throughout our growth we have seen and mastered many challenging times – we have been fortunate in recent months to have excellent clients, a dedicated supply chain and most importantly a loyal team working as one.

At the start of this pandemic, we reminded our staff of the special responsibility that a business like ours has at this time. Be it commercial spaces, supermarkets or people’s homes - maintaining and providing support service solutions are essential to peoples' lives. In moments like these our purpose and values matter to the people and communities we serve.

It is in times of crisis that the true heroes around us are unveiled. Over the months have learnt of the many efforts of our team humbly supporting their communities around them and giving a helping hand for those less fortunate than us. We will be detailing some of these efforts in the coming days. It is these selfless acts that make us proud to be celebrating our 10th birthday.
