Time of Quick Changes
In today's world, things are changing very fast. Look, if Tom Hanks decided to make the sequel of You've got Mail, guess who is going to be out the business. Crazy, right?!
Honestly I'm not a very quick person. My wife and my High School PE teacher always complained about that. Both of them had issues with my slow pace, of course, in totally different Depts. ?
?Anyway, I'm trying to follow the crowd on these challenging times as much as I can. I always ask my kids for help with the new technology. Unfortunately, when I finally get used to my cell phone, I have to update it because it no longer supports the new apps. Let me give you another example. At work, I have to change my password each three months, and I'm only using the system to enter the students' attendance. I can't imagine how many times the Secretary of Defense has to change his.
?I'm okay with the fast ?but not too much with the furious. Old people like me always said, "all past was a better time" but to tell you the truth, I'm very thankful for have lived part of my life in a time more calm, with a slower pace.
I always remember my dad taking the time to speak with the postman when he delivered our mail, back on the day. Now, half of my e-mails are coming from some kind of robots ! I think, this is going too far.
