Tips for Best Times to Post on TikTok
Social media has created a round-the-clock need for the consumption of content. Whether video or links to articles, users love scrolling through their timelines to find something to pass the time.
And while creating content should always be your goal, you also need to know the best time to connect with these followers.
Here are two important questions to ask yourself to find the best time to post on TikTok:
#1. Where is?Your?Target Audience?Located?
#2. What Time is Your Target Audience Awake?
so let’s go into details with these:
#1. Where Is Your Target Audience Located?
TikTok, like all social media channels, has a worldwide al base of users. For instance, 1 in 7 people in Thailand has downloaded the app.
In India, there are over 20 million downloads, while China comes in at a huge 150 million, and over 14 million users in the USA.

Why do these stats matter?
Well, if you have a global following, that automatically impacts how much content you create.
It also has bearing on when you should be posting your content. Time zones automatically determine that much of your content will be seen during the busiest hours within a certain location.
How Do you Leverage this Insight to find the Best Time to Post on TikTok?
First, establish where your audiences are. TikTok now provides the chance to turn your normal user account into a Pro account.
What does that mean? Pro accounts come with a new set of features, one of which is analytics.
Analytics will specify how many followers you have, what their gender split is, and the top territories your audiences come from.
If you haven’t converted to a Pro account yet, here’s how to:
Login into the app and visit your profile. Next, access your privacy and settings section by tapping on the three dots in the top right-hand of your device screen. Then, hit on Switch to Pro Account.
Follow the steps (this may include verifying your phone number if you haven’t yet). Once your account has been switched to a Pro account, you can access your analytics.
While still in your privacy and settings section, hit on Analytics in the Accounts section. Hit on the Followers tab and you will find details on your followers.
#2. What Time is Your Target Audience Awake?
You have figured out where your audience is located. Now, it’s time to find out when they are awake.
This part may appear a little trickier, but it’s just a simple matter of understanding time zones. For instance, if you are in Thailand and have lots of followers in India and Thailand, there is only about an hour and 30 minutes in time difference to consider. In fact, with a time difference that little, your posting schedule won’t be disturbed.
If, on the other hand, you have tons of audiences in the UK and North America, that’s different, You will have to plan and schedule content around an eight-hour time difference.
Unfortunately, TikTok is not armed with any scheduling functionality. Also, there aren’t any social media management apps (not yet) that enable you to link your TikTok account to post or schedule?your content.
Does this mean you are trapped here? No, there is a solution.
You will have to build a content schedule to cover the biggest territories your followers come from.
It may not be easy and it also will be hard to maintain if you have audiences in countries with wide gaps in time differences, but it appears to be the only way to cover posting content for your audience.
So, Again, When is the Best Time to Post on TikTok?
Away from the tips given, there are a few other factors that determine the best time to post on TikTok.
#1. Your followers
Since a good deal of the people who appear to like my product, the most are Russian, Dutch, and Croatian, and I am in California, the best time for me to post content is 1:00 am or thereabouts, however, everyone’s follower list is different, so don’t swallow mine here as best practice.
Do note that it will always read that you have more audience from the USA but that doesn’t mean the people who are truly appreciating products are in that majority by necessity. Know your followers and post accordingly to meet them when they are awake and fit to consume your content, and this you can do only when you know their locations.
#2. Your Goals
Are you trying to gather ground and become famous on TikTok? Are you trying to create brand awareness? Do you want to flaunt your looks using the TikTok platform?
