Announcing that Razzamataz Theatre Schools are Ambassadors for The King's Trust .

I’m delighted to announce that myself and the Head Office team will be Ambassadors for the Prince’s Trust, a charity that is very close to my heart and one that helped me make my dream of creating a network of theatre schools a reality.?

I was just 27 when I was directed to the Prince’s Trust to help me set up Razzamataz Theatre Schools. As a former professional dancer and choreographer, I didn’t have any business experience or training so although I had a big dream, I had a lot to learn to make it a reality.?

I was assigned a business mentor by the Prince’s Trust when I launched RTSL in 2000 and attended many of their events including Prince’s Trust Cumbrian Young Entrepreneur of the Year, which I won! The support and contacts that I gained helped to shape me and Razzamataz and it remains instrumental to this day.?

As a young businesses-woman, the Prince’s Trust gave me the skills and importantly the confidence I needed to face the challenges that launching a business can bring. I’m so proud to be an alumni of Prince’s Trust and now it is time to give back to many more young ambitious woman like myself.

We will be announcing the work we will be doing in the New Year, and we are incredibly exciting to be getting behind initiatives such as ‘Women supporting Women’ and pay it forwards to help the next generation.?
