Time for a Pause

Time for a Pause

Originally written to my email newsletter community on Sept 24 2024

Greetings my peeps,?

I'm just on return from a whirlwind three week EuroTrip and it ended up being chock full of learnings and lessons [moreso than restoration and relaxation]. Big Shocker LOL!?

I typically send a newsletter in the third week of each month, but I'm taking a mini hiatus for September to integrate the things that have taken up more space in my priority list. I'm in the midst of planning an elopement + honeymoon + reception, looking forward to a few long weekend trips into the end of this year, getting clear & more refined in what I can best offer to the world. Although the list seems short, the impact is big and gets to take up more time & space.

The truth is, I've come to realize that it may have felt confusing to really nail in, what it is that Viki does! Pivoting is my middle name, yet I often forget that the rest of the world is not in my pivoting brain with me. Thus, I've found myself sharing so many things with you so often, because my brain has so many big visionary ways to be of service, that YOU don't quite know where to start. I get it. ?

I am greedy for feedback, so I thank those that have shared this with me.?

So, as we slide into the finale of 2024, I plan to spend that time honing, refining and sharing intentionally. Some things that will take up that space are [because, I too get to practice what I preach when it comes to sharing vulnerably + building in public]:

  • editing the emails received after someone signs up to this newsletter for clarity
  • spending time on ONE THING AT A TIME in each season + sharing that loudly & proudly [I get to practice what I preach once again]
  • nailing down better systems & automations on my back end?
  • adjusting how this newsletter looks [and yes, cutting some content down much to my CHAGRIN but if I'm mainly working with neurodivergent folks, I get to speak the language of short form; leaving the long form for blogging & podcasting]
  • spending more time learning seo & refining the podcast strategy?
  • yada yada yada

With that being said, here are a few nice places to start with me if you haven't yet:

Just like you, I am a work in progress. When I look at those who invite me into their worlds in some way, I don't look for those that seem to know it all but rather, those that have lived a robust life filled with curveballs, oopses, Mt Everests, harsh swerves and have stories to tell.

That is how I want to be perceived as well; I hope that within the next few months as I begin to record season three of my podcast [which will literally be a series of personal stories] you may get to find more resonance in this world I've invited you into.?

As always, thank you for your time & energy!?

Vik?
