As Avian Influenza (H5N1) makes inroads into our bovine population the time for mobilization and prevention of a human outbreak is now. Agree emphatically with this piece in the NYT:https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/03/26/opinion/thepoint#avian-flu-cows-outbreak

In particular H5N1 vaccine stocks should be within reach when needed.
