Time for a new challenge - i'm leaving AIH

What a journey the last ten years have been! It has been very enjoyable but the time has come to write the next chapter in my education career. I have submitted my resignation from AIH - Australian Institute of Higher Educationand this Friday, 5th July 2019, will be my final day!

My journey at AIH started prior to the first offer letter being issued. In fact the first offer letter for AIH was issued by me while other staff were enjoying a major karaoke session in the next room (special mention to Aristotle Ortanezhere :D ). During my time the organisation grew from around 30 students in the first intake to over 1000 now!

I would like to thank you for the support that you have given me during my AIH journey. Without your support and the relationships that we have been able to forge during this time the above growth would not be possible. The relationships made are something that I truly cherish and trust will continue in the future.

Your support during this time has been amazing and has spread way beyond just the college marketing guy relationship and has allowed me to develop an interest in community support. Some of the projects that we have supported together include:

- the Fukushima Tsunami Recovery in Japan

- the Haiyan Typhoon Recovery in the Philippines

- the Nepal Earthquake Recovery

- raising almost $13,000 over the last couple of years for Children's Cancer Research

It is really difficult to say "goodbye" to the organisation which made up more than 40 per cent of my working career but the time for a new challenge has come. I trust our paths will cross within the international education sector moving forward.
