Time is the most valuable coin in your life

I've had a lot of conversations lately about time and how we divide up our time over the days and weeks. When there is a lot of overwhelm life doesn't feel fun anymore and as a result we feel overworked and sick of the treadmill that never ends.
Mastering your time is the first step to scaling your business and not working crazy long hours anymore.
Here are 3 time manamgenmet tips from James Clear author of Atomic Habits
1. Eliminate half-work at all costs
IE: Finish the report you start stop your eyes wondering to your emails while you're on the phone.
Regardless of where and how you fall into the trap of half-work, the result is always the same: you're never fully engaged in the task at hand, you rarely commit to a task for extended periods of time, and it takes you twice as long to accomplish half as much.
2. Do the most important thing first
For bookkeepers this is the 'ON' your business work, book the meeting with the Accountant to talk about referrals, ask your 'A' class client for a testimonial. Its important (not urgent) work.
If you do the most important thing first, then you’ll never have a day when you didn’t get something important done.
3. Reduce the scope, but stick to the schedule.
So, if you are planning to systemise your bookkeeping business 100% and you set a goal of doing 1 hour a day Monday - Friday for 3 months to complete - 60 hours. Some days you might only have half an hour and you'll be tempted to do nothing because you can't do the full hour. Then we know how the story goes for the following days and weeks.
Stick to your schedule and build the habit, no matter how small the accomplishment.
