Time is Money—Are You Using Yours Wisely?

Ever find yourself completely in the zone, only for something to snap you out of it?

Today, while I was knee-deep in marketing, I overheard a woman with a thick German accent say, “Time is money.” She said it a few times, and it got me thinking—am I getting an ROI on my time?

We all know time is more valuable than money. You can’t get time back. But even though we understand this, I still like to ask myself: How can I get more of my time back?

Because, let’s face it:

  • Life is precious.
  • If we have kids, they're getting older
  • We're getting older.

One of my daily affirmations is to be present and to find joy in the moment.

And the best way to fully embrace “time is money” is by learning to value our time more. That means:

  • Saying no when we need to.
  • Setting boundaries.
  • Choosing who we work with and who we spend our time with.

We live in an era of constant distractions. Staying present and in control of our awareness is the challenge. So, next time you catch yourself doom-scrolling on your phone or going down a random rabbit hole, take a moment to ask: Is this the best use of my time?

Stop Worshipping Worry

Here’s another thing: Stop worshipping worry. Now, I know no one consciously worships it, but think about this—how many times have you worried about something you can’t control?

How many minutes (or hours) have you lost stressing over an outcome that didn’t even happen?

It’s easy to get wrapped up in fear and worry. But remember: Everything we want is on the other side of fear. When we dwell in low-vibe emotions like worry, our perspective shifts, and reaching our goals gets harder.

Here’s a little trick to break the cycle if you find yourself worrying for longer than 90 seconds:

  • Picture the stressful situation in your mind.
  • Now, reverse it in your head, like rewinding a video.
  • Replay the scene, but make the voices exaggerated and cartoonish.
  • Fast forward the scene with the voices even higher pitched.
  • Change the colors to black and white, then back to color.
  • Imagine the characters as cartoons.

Trust me—this little mental trick will help the worry fade away fast. Try it out, and let me know how it goes!

Personal Growth at the Gym: Lessons from the Leg Press

Without going too deep into my fitness goals (spoiler: it’s to gain muscle and lose weight), my trainer recently challenged me to use the leg press machine.?

I hesitated when he loaded 50 kilos (about 110 lbs). My internal dialogue was full of doubt, but I did it anyway.

Fast forward to last week—the head trainer doubled the weight to 100 kilos (220 lbs). My reaction? “I can’t do this. It’s going to be too hard!”

That’s when I realized: even someone like me, who motivates others for a living, still battles with self-doubt.?

It was a sobering moment, but it also reminded me that growth happens when we push beyond those mental barriers.

It’s not just about lifting weights; it’s about lifting the mental load that holds us back. And the gym is one of the best places to see that mindset in action.

Email Marketing: Are You Ready for the Holiday Season?

Now, let’s talk business! The holiday season, from mid-October through February, is the biggest sales window for many businesses.?

As service providers, it doesn’t always make sense to discount our services.?

But we can create irresistible entry offers to attract new clients during this time.

Ask yourself:

  • What email marketing campaigns do I have planned?
  • How am I welcoming new subscribers and onboarding them into my world?
  • Is my email tech optimized to make sure my messages land in inboxes, not spam?

I’ll be hosting a live podcast before the end of the year to dive into these strategies in more detail—so stay tuned!

I hope this gives you some inspiration to value your time more, crush your worries, and prepare for a strong end to the year!

Catch you next week,

Simone
