Time is Time & Money is Money!

I was in a conversation with a few friends and the words “Time is Money” came up. Now, everyone must have heard the famous quote by Benjamin Franklin, "Time is Money". It is meant to amplify the importance of time and gives us the idea that once the time is lost, it cannot be regained.
And that is my point exactly!
That’s why I think that: "Time is time, and money is money."
If you lose money, you can work your ass off, be creative, and get that money back. Been there, done that, ready to do it again if I must.
But once time is lost, that’s it, there are no do-overs. If you miss time with your parents, siblings, kids, close friends… sometimes there is no catching up. I lost my eldest brother in a car accident 18+ years ago… ?and just like that, he was gone! All the plans we made for the next day, next weekend, … vanished. I’m not saying that you should cram everything to do at once, but the important stuff, don’t put them off. I try my best to use the time wisely with my kids, family, and close friends.
I’ve recently come to realize that the most valuable thing I own is my time and ever since I came to terms with “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F%&k!”, I started to use it more wisely and cut off all the unnecessary fat!

You may ask me “how?”
Simple, don’t let the sand use up all the space that is meant for the golf balls… Uuuhhhh? Watch this video and you’ll understand what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA8SgdpW8Dk.
And always remember this, no matter how full our lives are, there’s always time for a couple of beers with a friend.
Till the next one, keep it safe, keep it real, and keep it simple!
