TIME
I am attempting to write a book. Something I have wanted to do for years.
I kept persuading myself I didn't have time.
The strange thing being that today I have never been busier in my life. But I have started. I started about a year ago. And it's a voyage. So far my discovery has been......
We live in a world where time is a precious commodity. We often believe that achieving significant goals requires extended periods of concentrated effort. However, author Matthew Dicks argues in his book "Someday Is Today" that even small amounts of time can make a significant difference.
As I write my book, I have experienced the power of minutes, and I am reminded of Dick's message. Despite my initial belief that writing requires hours of uninterrupted time, I have found that my best content often comes from 10-minute bursts of writing. It amazes me how far these short periods of time have taken me towards my goal of finishing."To win first you must finish."

Every minute counts, and the value of minutes is not always equal. For an average reader spending just 15-30 minutes a day reading can lead to finishing 15 books in a year, while 3 hours a day of television watching, video gaming, social media grazing can waste 45 days a year.
We need to shift our mindset from thinking about how many hours we need to dedicate to something to thinking about how we can make progress in small increments. Instead of waiting for the perfect moment to start something, we should start as soon as we have a few minutes available. These moments can be used to read, write, exercise, meditate, or even to relax.
In conclusion, we should all recognize the power of minutes and use them effectively. We should be mindful of how we spend our time and use every moment to our advantage.
"Someday is today."
