A recent study showed that the average person spends just over half of their day on activities that are not directly related to their job. That leaves less than half of the day to actually focus on work. So, how can you make the most of your time?
Here are a few tips:
?
1)The first thing you have to do every morning is figure out what your priorities are. That way, when it's time for action (and there will always be some sort of deadline), everything gets done in order from most important task down through less urgent ones so nothing falls through the cracks.
"Make a list", says author and productivity expert propellant David Allen in his book "Getting Things Done."
2) Take advantage of technology. There are plenty of time-saving tools available online, from task managers to calendars to Pomodoro timers. Find ones that work best for you and use them to help organise your day.
3)You won't believe how much time delegating can save you. It may be the single most important thing that every business owner does, and I'm not just talking about when things get tough!
One of the best ways to delegate effectively is by finding a good match between task and person, communicating expectations clearly so they know exactly what's expected out them both in terms resources needed for success as well setting up clear deadlines. It can also help monitor progress periodically while giving feedback when necessary through follow-up calls or emails.

4)Taking a break is critical to productivity. It's easy get wrapped up in work and spend hours at your desk without taking any time away from the computer, but when you do take that much needed step away from behind — use it productively.
?
5) Setting goals is an area where people often get stressed and frustrated. It's important to start with small, achievable tasks that you can do in one day before gradually increasing your workload as time progresses, so it doesn't overwhelm or discourage you from continuing forward on the task at hand!
6)There are also tools that can help you manage your time!

While some people prefer to use traditional methods like calendars and to-do lists, others find that digital tools make it easier to stay on top of their schedule. And the best part is that there are plenty of great time management tools available for free.
The Toggl tool is a great way to measure how much time you spend on different tasks. By identifying areas where your productivity may be lacking, it can help bring those sections up-to speed with what they should produce given the amount of effort put in by yourself or others working alongside them!
Another useful application for monitoring computer usage would have to come through RescueTime - this program runs in background mode and tracks which sites/applications users visit most often while also setting limits accordingly so that users don't get overwhelmed at first glance but rather learn healthier ways navigate technology without overdoing things.
But of course, there’s always a method that doesn’t require an app, even more than one! Here are two of them:
a)???One popular option is called "the Pomodoro Technique," which involves working for 25 minutes at once followed by 5 minute (after founder Francesco Cirillo originated it in the late 80s).
This process allows individuals with limited amounts hours per day get things done without sacrificing quality because each break provides relief from intense focus.
?
b)???The Eisenhower matrix is a useful tool for ranking tasks by urgency/ importance. It does not place all items equally but rather ranks higher those that seem more urgent or important than others so they take up spots in your schedule accordingly
No matter who you are, or what you do, you only have 24 hours in a day. How you use that time is up to you.
With the right time management techniques, you can maximise your productivity and get more done in a day.
