Time Management
Over the next few months chances are you will be understaffed in the office and people will be multi tasking, here are a few tips to help you manage your time.
· To Do Lists
Only ever have 5 things on your to do list and add to it as you complete tasks, this helps your brain keep a positive mind set, feeling it has accomplished things and not getting bogged down, thinking there is too much to do.
· Prioritise
When you have a long list, prioritise it.
If it is vital and needs doing now it’s an A
If it can wait till A has been done it’s a B
If it’s important but not urgent it’s a C
Can it be delegated? D
If it’s not that important eliminate it for now and re add it when it is important E.
· Eat your Frog !
Do the things you least like doing first, get them out of the way and you will enjoy a much more productive day.
· Do not get distracted
Focus on your to do list, don’t get lost in answering emails as soon as they come in. Don’t go on social media unless you have too
Don’t have the TV or Radio on in the background unless it is mood or mind set music.
· Train up quick
If you think you may have to fill in for people in the near future, talk to them now and learn the basics of what you will need to do. I am offering a one day training seminar for non-sales people to learn the basics to help in sales, give me a ring if you want to know more.
