Time to look back at your year!

I have never been a friend of new years′resolutions or thinking of the past year more than necessary. Guess I have been too much of a realist for that, however, due to some professional and personal crisis I have started doing it last year and it is an amazing exercise; I regret of not having done it before.
I guess once you have a new years‘ resolution or something concrete in mind that you want to do, change or achieve, it can also pressure you. We all are afraid of not achieving what we want for ourselves, so it′s much easier not wanting anything….this way you can′t be disappointed (and also never feel successful). More or less this was my fabulous (not!) theory. But this belongs to the past and I want to share with you my personal highlights of 2015:
- Having found a truly good job in an exceptional company with an exceptional activity by sticking to my Plan A, there was no Plan B
- Having realized (by finding this job) that there isn′t the one and only company or job that can make you really happy, there is other good things out there, don′t close yourself to new opportunities
- Having experienced how great it is to be trusted before showing results
- Having found new friends when I thought I don′t need new ones
- Saying goodbye to people (applicable to professional and private life) and patterns they are no longer making you happy in your life is the best thing to do
I am working now on my ”to do” list for 2016 (one thing is already on there: losing the fear of long distance travel…) So, have fun making your own lists – wish you a wonderful end of this year and a great start into the new adventure.
