Hola!!!
How are you all doing????
Wow! I almost cannot believe that the second month of the year will pass by in three days.
The concept of time is deeply intriguing. Apart from the well known fact that time stops for no one, it also places a huge demand on each one of us to maximize it.
To eliminate the risk of sounding ironic, after all you should be getting this on a Monday morning, I will simply list a handful of practical tips.
1. Always remember that you are in control of your time.
2. Recognize and document your goals.
3. Highlight tasks and ideologies you deem valuable.
4. Leverage a weekly/daily task schedule.
5. Set goal completion timelines and be accountable to someone.
6. Surround yourself with high performance and potential people.
7. Under-promise and over-deliver.
8. Delegate and outsource tasks - Remember, you are also developing others and creating a legacy this way.
9. It’s okay to SAY NO, FIRMLY - Better to execute few tasks effectively than to execute many tasks poorly.
10. Regularly take breaks and naps - The better rested you are, the more efficient you are.
11. Complete one task before moving to the next.
Hey, we all get 24 hours, what sets us apart is how you utilize the time we have been given.
Often undermined is rest, STOP THAT! It is the silent game-changer.
I’ll leave you for now with this quote;
“Very successful people aren’t workaholics who neglect self-care and personal/family priorities. They recognize that everything else suffers if they can’t take care of themselves.” - Marcel Schwantes
Here’s to a more fulfilling and rewarding life! The beginning of the best days of your life!!
Have the best of 2024!!!!!
