Time to have some fun!

Last week I mentioned our values and today have decided to focus on the one it perhaps took us the longest to really say what we wanted it too. But why would we tell our candidates and clients we have fun on a daily basis?

Because it is so important!

Around the core principle of “Family”, the above statement underpinned one of the reasons I moved to Kate+Co and why I continue to actually enjoy going to work. Further, it’s something that those who come in and register with us understand and shows we go beyond working with any client. We pick and choose. We make sure those who are going to work for us work in places they’ll enjoy. And we’re proud of it!

According to one study, two-thirds of Generation Z employees look for a fun working environment when assessing whether an organisation’s culture is right for them. In a time when attracting talent is increasingly difficult, it’s clearly vital!

Most of us spend more time working than doing anything other than sleeping, so I’d love to hear what your business does to really make the work day enjoyable.
