"Time with GC Cameron, More to Come..."

Hubby and I spent the weekend in Detroit with our very dear brother and friend, a Motown original, GC Cameron.

We're producing a documentary on his life. GC has had an incredible and even unfathomable journey; from Mississippi, to Detroit, to Vietnam, to Motown - around the world with The Detroit Spinners, to Hollywood, and back to Mississippi. This project is intense and richer than I could have imagined.

I'm going to make a statement and if you don't know anything about GC Cameron, you could easily think I'm exaggerating. But for those who have had the good fortune to be familiar with his talent you'll understand. Here's my claim: G C Cameron, former lead singer of The Spinners and former lead singer of The Temptations can exude more talent and sheer gifting in a single hour than many artists could ever dream of amassing in an entire lifetime of performances.

Having this treasure and trust in my hands is awesome and humbling. My prayer is that God grant me the wisdom and skill, but also the guidance, support and resources to do this very important project the justice it so rightly deserves.
