?A key point to bear in mind: The value of attentiveness varies in proportion to its object. You’re better off not giving the small things more time than they deserve.” Marcus Aurelius
The truth is that modern life overwhelms us! We constantly have to make decisions and adapt to the ever-changing conditions of our environment! Our energy is limited, and so is our ability to focus!
On the other hand, our reaction (more precisely, how we respond or deal with a specific situation) directly depends on the level of energy and concentration at that moment! This is obvious, but let's go deeper!
Various situations have a different impact on our life; practically, some are more important or have a more substantial impact on our life! Also, some activities are directly connected with our goals, and others have little connection with our medium or long-term goals!
In short, when we spend our energy and focus (available in limited quantities) on activities and reactions that do not bring a long-term benefit when we will need energy and focus for an essential aspect of our lives, these abilities will no longer be available, and the effects will be disappointing!
But let's see what's happening in the health and beauty line! If we don't give time, attention, and energy to factors with positive impacts, we automatically give credit to factors with long-term adverse effects!
So, what would be the perfect formula for using our time, energy, and focus? The first step is to accept that there is a non-linear relationship between time, energy, and focus! Many times we accomplish much more in a single hour than we do in three days!
And then what should we do? Let's spend our energy and focus on the critical aspects and leave the non-essential for later!
