I hope you carve out time to do something that brings you joy this week. You deserve to live a joyful life.
In keeping with the theme of joy, I had a great conversation with fellow Spelman alumna, Dr. Kathryn Sophia Belle , on my YouTube channel yesterday that covered topics from how to know when to leave a job that isn't toxic but isn't fulfilling anymore, to the importance of Black Women leading pleasure-centered lives.
Here were some notable quotes from Dr. Belle:
"The fear is real. The fear has more to do with change and the unknown. There were fears around leaving my marriage, there were fears around leaving the academy, but what was greater than that fear was that intuitive knowing that it was time to go. It was time to do something different."
"There is knowledge and awareness in our bodies that we need to pay attention to. That pleasure-centered life is paying attention to what really feels good and actually going for that."

Step Into Your Queendom
If you're currently in a toxic job that has you feeling lost, disconnected from yourself, and not able to even think about how to leave, I created a roadmap for myself that you may find helpful.
This digital fillable workbook, called "Welcome to Your Queendom ," provides you with prompts you can respond to rediscover yourself (your "Queendom") and tap into your inner knowing.
Here is a testimonial:
"'Welcome To Your Queendom' played a pivotal role in my journey towards liberation. It truly helped me regain my sense of self-worth and reconnect to my authentic voice after feeling like I had lost myself completely. If you're struggling in a toxic environment and wondering how you can ever make it out, I highly recommend using this workbook as your guide."
