This intro is short & sharp this week because I'm already late getting this to my VA to put out & if I take too much longer, it won't even get out this week!
Thankfully, I may soon have my new Integrator / Customer Service / EA person & so I might finally be able to delegate & elevate & have some time to do the things I love, which includes sourcing the articles & writing this newsletter.
So, I don't know about you, but I thought this week (& last) would be really quiet.
In fact, the whole of January & February would be really quiet & so I'd be safe to ease back into it & then make my trips to Toronto & then Dallas.
I came back to work on the 3rd & quite frankly, it's been really busy. And 'by busy', I mean productive.
Clients who have sold their old businesses want my help with their new businesses now. Clients who were Integrators & have moved companies want my help with their new leadership teams. And there are a whole lot of new potential clients contacting me & asking me for my help. Plus, I've been cementing my relationships with Westpac, EO & TEC to deliver valuable content to their members this year.
So, I am not complaining about being busy, because this is what I love to do – I love to help entrepreneurs lead better lives. ??
This is why I am super excited about the upcoming trips & getting some help again.
The trip to Canada is to see my coach & do a 3-day intensive training session to set myself up for what promises to be a big year for me & my clients.
Dallas is about doing my annual session with the EOS community, which sets me up to deliver even more value for my clients.
And having a right-hand person again is going to free me up to do the things that I not only love, but that enables me to deliver the most amount of value for my clients.
Finally, we're about to refurb the EOS Session room & offices, so it will also provide an even better experience for clients.
So, this year is all about change, but positively, because for me, all the change last year was not all positive. ??
This week, apart from catching up with old clients & talking to new clients, I also held our first Connector Communities Expert session. We brainstormed what this year might look like & what people might be concerned about.
From this, we will be delivering an expert panel discussion where each expert will deliver their crystal ball view of next year & what you can do to set yourselves up to thrive this year, plus answer questions from the audience.
This will be followed by speed business networking – giving you a chance to briefly connect with around 20 people out of the 80 people in the room. And don't worry – you can catch up with the others over drinks & nibbles.
If you're an established business & are keen to attend this session on Tuesday 7th, February from 3 pm – 6 pm, please let me know & I will invite you as my guest.
If you're just interested to find out what Connector is, then take a look at our temporary webpage -?Click here.
I also recorded several podcasts with both local & international guests & got to discuss all kinds of business topics. Jeni & Nick Clift & I also filmed a series about commonly asked EOS questions, which I am looking forward to sharing when it is ready!?
And finally, I spent time with the other 2 NZ Based EOS implementers in NZ this week discussing our plans for this year. I don't work alone. I love working with the whole team here & it's been fun to discuss what we want to achieve & how we can do it. Thanks, Adam Harris & Vijay Nyayapati .
Surprisingly, this didn't end up being all that short – it turns out I get too excited by what I do – I hope it wasn't too tedious & hope you love the articles & finds of the week.
As always, you know where I am if you want help!

BETTER BUSINESS: Get yourself a guarantee!?
I often work with clients through the EOS Proven Process & when we get to the guarantee, it is your choice whether you have it or not.
Many feel like they really can't,?so this article is fascinating.?
Even lawyers can offer a guarantee & what it does for their business is amazing.
Our EOS guarantee is that we deliver a session & if you don't see the value, you don't pay.
That means I can travel around NZ (or Australia) and deliver a whole day with your leadership team & if you don't feel I delivered value, then you don't have to pay me. Same for every other EOS Implementer.
Now, that's got teeth! Especially when you consider that we also don't have letters of engagement or contracts – it's day by day. Commit to the process, but we only want to work with you if you are getting the value you deserve.
So, what's your guarantee? And if you feel you can't have one – why not??

BETTER LIFE: Where's your bucket list?
Steve & I have one – it's a whole book if the truth is known.
And it's not just big things – it's also got smaller things that we know we can tick off easily because it makes you feel better when working through the list.
So, if you can't afford the time or money to do Machu Picchu or race around the Nürburgring in a Porsche (yes, both on our bucket list), then why not choose something a bit easier?
This list gives you the best places to visit in Australia – add some to your bucket list now!

FIND OF THE WEEK: Better health comes at a cost!
This year I will turn 53 years old & sometimes I feel every year of it!
Fortunately, most of the time, I still feel about 30.
Except when I do my 3 personal trainer-supervised weight training sessions per week at the gym.
I find gripping the weights a little difficult, so I have to use gloves.
And these are lightweight & easily washable as well as comfortable. And look how they compliment my nails ??
Don't worry, and they do a men's version, too – Torpedo 7 seem to be the stockists over here.

PODCAST OF THE WEEK:?From Struggling Immigrant to Franchise Rock Star
One of the reasons I love EOS is our community.
Our implementers are not just trained coaches. They have to have run their own business.
And some of us still do, outside of our EOS business.
In this podcast, I talk to Amanda, an award-winning Franchisee for Soccer Shots and an EOS Implementer.
Listen to how she & her husband got to where they are & why she now chooses to do both.

2 年Hi Debra I tried to find out more about the Connect event and register but it basically filled my whole calendar. Had to delete it. Hopefully you can send more info anyway. Cheers
