In a time of change, D2L stays the course

There’s been some big news in the education technology sector recently. You probably heard that a few of our main competitors were recently sold to private equity firms – which continues a trend that has led to ALL our main competitors in the education space being owned by private equity firms.

The sole pursuit of shareholder value at the expense of other priorities is not us.

I’ve long believed that we have an obligation to put the human element at the centre of our business – which is why we put the learner first rather than the sole pursuit of profit. If you ask me, that’s the right way to maximize value.
