Time on the business vs time in the business

Time on the business vs time in the business

Have you figured out the ideal ratio for you?

I don't have numbers, but I generally try to spend less time in the business, doing:

  • Accounting
  • Updating WordPress plugins
  • Invoicing
  • Managing to-do lists
  • Posting
  • Fixing automations
  • Putting up new pages

And more time on the business, doing:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Speaking
  • Meeting
  • Thinking
  • Connecting
  • Learning
  • Planning

I plan to outsource almost the entire first list in time. And bask in the glory of the second. How about you? Did I miss anything? Do you think I'm out to lunch?

On it,

James
