“Timber Talk: Unveiling Exciting Upgrades for the 2025 International Mass Timber Conference”

Dear Forest Business Network Newsletter Reader:

Last week our growing International Mass Timber Conference team met in Spokane, Washington and Sandpoint, Idaho, for our annual planning meeting. Our primary focus was to outline the changes and upgrades for next year's event, but we also got a chance to visit Todd Beyreuther at Mercer Mass Timber's plant in Spokane and Russ Vaagen at Vaagen Timbers' plant in Colville, Washington. There was even some quality time spent at the new Humbird hotel, a real mass timber gem, set at the Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort.

Fun tours of plants and buildings aside, here are a few sneak peeks at our 2025 upgrades:

We have improved our agenda schedule to allow for a better experience for both attendees and exhibitors, ultimately giving you more time in the evenings for meetings and corporate gatherings.

The typical pre-conference Tuesday — normally filled with exhibitor setup, workshops, tours, and a Welcome Reception — will now host some educational sessions, included as part of your attendee pass.

We are simplifying your event purchases by combining the pass registration and hotel reservations into into one form. The short and sweet of it is... we're always looking to save you time and trouble whenever possible.

Our 2025 mobile app will allow attendees to chat with one another so you can take your conference experience even further.

We're investing in a bigger customer service team to get you even speedier responses to your most pressing questions.

We expect to unveil even more changes and improvements over the coming months, so stay tuned. We can't wait to spill the beans on everything exciting coming in 2025.

Happy spring,

Craig Rawlings - President $ CEO - Forest Business Network LLC
