Dear Forest Business Network Newsletter Reader:
To celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, the entire Forest Business Network team went #OnTheRoadAgain for a brief but awesome field trip last Friday and Saturday. We set out from Missoula, Montana, for a beautiful drive down to Big Sky and West Yellowstone for an excursion that was both work and play.?With Christmas music in the air, we rolled through an endless landscape of elk herds, Big Horn Sheep, and jagged mountain peaks while our team got to bond once again over yet another one of our (always fun) road trips.?
In Big Sky we met with Larsen Bidstrup, the Assistant Project Manager at Lone Mountain Land Company, where he walked us through their (currently under construction) #modularmasstimber workforce housing project. The Bucks T4 development is one of the finest builds of this type that we've ever seen — a truly inspiring 120 modular units made of Kalesnikoff CLT and glulam beams.?
That evening we found ourselves in a windy and very cold West Yellowstone. The tourists were gone for the moment so we enjoyed a quiet evening in a warm, quaint bar where we raised a glass under glulam beams. Not a bad way to toast the holidays if I do say so myself.?
A holly jolly to you all.
