Tim McCarthy from our supplier FAB is retiring

It may come as a surprise to many of you, but it is true that our very own Tim McCarthy is almost of retirement age! It is therefore with great sadness that FAB are announcing that at the end of April we will be waving him goodbye to start his new life in Spain.

In just six short years here at FAB Tim has been instrumental in growing the business from being the UK’s largest specialist BMW dismantlers, to one of the largest suppliers of traceable quality green parts to numerous household named fleets. For this success, he has secured his place in the history of FAB, and possible for green parts industry as a whole!

From his modest beginnings selling Ski yoghurts, his career took him through companies such as TNT and 14 years in the dental industry ending as a National Sales Manager. Tim knew he had hit the big time when he was appointed Business Development Manager here at FAB. Tim says; “I have enjoyed every day working at FAB, witnessing our development as a company and progress within the green parts industry has made me feel very proud of the whole team’s effort. I’ll definitely miss them all”.

You may think it would be easy to fill Tim’s size 7 shoes, but FAB are searching for a suitable candidate to take on the role of Key Account Manager. So, if you are charismatic, hardworking, innovative, and would relish the challenge of working alongside the team at FAB then we would like to hear from you.
