TikTok's New Voice-Cloning AI Feature: What You Need to Know!

So, here's the scoop: Some sharp-eyed code sleuth recently stumbled upon a couple of intriguing hints buried within TikTok's code – "Create Your Voice with AI" and "TikTok Voice Library." While TikTok hasn't officially named this new feature yet, it's pretty clear what they're cooking up.

Now, AssembleDebug shared a sneak peek of TikTok's AI voice-cloning feature with us. The screen they captured promises a smooth process: "Create an AI version of your voice in just 10 seconds! You'll be able to use it with text-to-speech in TikTok videos."

Here's the deal: To get started, users will need to read out some text within the TikTok app. This helps TikTok recognize their voice and whip up a synthetic version. And don't worry, if you flub it up, you can always redo it.

Once you hit "Continue," TikTok will walk you through their Voice Library Terms, which lay out the rules for recording your voice. They're serious about privacy, promising to keep all AI voices under wraps and giving users full control to delete them whenever they want.

But, here's the kicker: AssembleDebug hit a few bumps during testing, like blank screens and error messages. So, while the feature shows a ton of potential for TikTok creators – making text narration a breeze and all – there's no word on when it'll officially roll out.

Nevertheless, TikTok's always cooking up something fresh to keep up with the pack. Case in point: their recent launch of TikTok Notes, a photo-sharing app with a dash of Instagram vibes. So, stay tuned – TikTok's got more tricks up its sleeve!
