The House of Representatives passed a bill yesterday that would require TikTok owner ByteDance to sell the social media platform or face a total ban in the United States. Meta has introduced a series of updates to enhance advertising capabilities for retailers and those utilising its automated Advantage+ campaigns.?

These updates include Advantage+ creative optimisations for auto-adjusting video ads to fit the mobile format. The updates also extend to Advantage+ catalogue ads, allowing for the inclusion of branded or demonstration videos alongside static images and the introduction of a "hero" image feature to highlight key products with AI-powered product suggestions.?
Further enhancements include eCommerce ad extensions through integration with Magento and Salesforce Commerce Cloud for Shop ads creation and the merger of Shop ads with Partnership ads for direct purchasing within collaborative campaigns.
