TikTok has made a major announcement in the past week. They have formally named SHOUT by UniTaskr as its first-ever ‘TikTok Agency Marketing Partner, highlighting excellence in campaign delivery on the platform. SHOUT has a client list of major brands including Spotify, Adobe, Amazon, Uber, and Red Bull.

How ITV turbocharged marketing’s influence with streaming reboot

After failing to engage younger audiences, ITV's streaming service was lost in relevance; mainly due to its perception as a service for older people. This led to a complete overhaul by the marketing department which would cost £165m. As a result, viewer engagement surged, with email click-through rates up by 68%.

ITV launches new eBay marketplace

ITV has partnered with eBay and PropUp Project, a not-for-profit organisation which specialises in rehoming and reselling props and other items from the film and television industry, to launch ITV ReLoved, an official eBay marketplace.

2 out of 5 UK Retailers Fail to Communicate With Customers During Returns Process

According to customer experience provider parcelLab and e-commerce customer care and fulfilment specialist Salesupply, 2 out 5 UK retailers fail to communicate with customers during the returns process. The report also highlighted:

  • 64% of retailers offer a return period of up to 30 days, while 21% allow up to 14 days
  • 15% of retailers offer return periods longer than 30 days
  • Over a quarter (26%) of retailers use retailer-owned portals and the same amount rely on third-party portals
