TikTok UK has exploded over the last 2 years, with over 23 million users! What’s more interesting is that over half of those users (55%) have made a purchase after seeing a product on the app. We can no longer ignore the fact that TikTok has become a real opportunity for brands to drive incremental and profitable revenue, with significantly lower fees than Amazon, for example. Not to mention the ability to reach new-to-brand shoppers, as TikTok’s shopping behaviour is driven by discovery and inspiration.

Amazon Rescinds Lump Sum Payment Demands

Amazon has come under scrutiny for demanding substantial lump sum payments from a number of Vendors for alleged shipment variances. The Grocer reported last month that the Amazon had given suppliers a mere 48 hours to agree to significant sums, threatening potential delisting. In response to the backlash, Amazon acknowledged the error, labelling its requests as a “mistake,” and ?initiated contact with all approximately 30 involved suppliers to rectify the situation.
