Tiger Wisdom Profile: Brian Moon '00
?? Corinne Green Endres
Engagement Strategist / Relationship Builder / Jane of All Trades
When asked what his best #TigerWisdom for the Class of 2020 is, Brian Moon ’00 (professional and technical communication) had a simple answer. “Every relationship is an opportunity- never burn bridges.” Some of these relationships include Brian’s former RIT professors. “One of the [things] I value most is the relationships established with faculty. I have visited RIT several times since graduating, sometimes unannounced, and the environment has always been welcoming.”
Brian returned his home state of Virginia after graduating from RIT, and the majority of his career has been as a sales executive in exhibition and events for the consumer technology and food service industries. Brian is currently the vice president of sales and business development at Consumer Technology Association, North America's leading tech trade association and owner and producer of CES? – the world's largest, most influential tech event.
Despite losing the traditional commencement experience, Brian encouraged the Class of 2020 to be confident in their commencement. “This does not and should not define all the experiences at RIT that will be with you for the rest of your life.”
