Tier 4 Restrictions and Maple Leaf Therapy

In light of the upgraded Tier 4 Covid regulations, and with recent developments over the weekend I wanted to update clients on what this means, and the impact it may have on your therapeutic journey.

I’d like to take the opportunity to thank all clients who have attended in-person appointments over the previous weeks, your observance of the rules and regulations have allowed us to continue operating and make some great progress. However, in accordance with government regulations, and best practice advice as given by the British Psychological society, while we remain in a Tier 4 status we will not be able to hold any in person sessions.

For those who have been attending via zoom appointments, this will not have an impact, and all in-person clients will have their appointments automatically re-scheduled online during the Tier 4 timeframe. We understand that this may not be suited to all, so during the Tier 4 period in person clients can reschedule sessions for a later date. The timeframe for all multiple session bookings or packages has been extended to reflect this interruption in face-to-face appointments.

Irrespective of what style of appointment you currently have, as always we will be in touch 24 hours prior, to either confirm an online appointment, or reschedule for a later and safer date. Just let us know what you are comfortable with.

We are keeping informed of all upcoming regulation surrounding safe operation, and as it stands when we are once again downgraded to Tier 3 will be able to resume in-person sessions with the usual safety precautions in place. Given the nature of the virus and its impact even when this occurs, there will continue to be no penalties for the rescheduling of in-person appointments, even up to and including the day of. New clients are welcome to get in touch, and there are no changes to initial phone consultations.

We look forward to welcoming you back in person, but until then we will continue to support you to the same high standard, and working through this together
