TIE 2022 Welcome Message

Dear LinkedIn friends, after a rather turbulent end of the year, Taiwan Impact Entrepreneurs (TIE) is slowly but surely restarting its activities. Happy belated 2022!

Let us reintroduce ourselves: TIE is one of the largest communities in Taiwan for both locals and foreigners. TIE is more than a networking platform: subject to government COVID measures, we also organise themed in-person events and support the Nifeng Theatre Group (逆風劇團) in Taipei City by providing English lessons on Sunday mornings. Members and non-members alike are welcome to contact us for any advice regarding starting up a business in Taiwan – ranging from legal issues, and branding/marketing to getting to know the right people in the right places.

We are in the process of formalising and expanding our organisation and are looking forward to including new members on LinkedIn! Founded by Andrew Klerck from South Africa, we have over 5000 members in our Facebook group, which is our current home base. TIE truly is an interactive community that is based on the following principles:

1. Resourcefulness: our members include both seasoned entrepreneurs and everyone else interested in entrepreneurship from all walks of life. We have a wealth of connections, knowledge and other resources from all kinds of industries in Taiwan.

2.?Support: Placing emphasis on the integration of local and foreign entrepreneurial communities, we always strive to optimise our knowledge base and mutual understanding. We encourage everyone to believe in themselves and try what they can do with the ideas and means that they have.

3.?Inclusion: Everyone, and we mean EVERYONE is welcome in TIE.
