The Tides of Thought

The Tides of Thought

Upon the tides of thought, my soul does drift,

A fragile bark on seas both calm and wild.

Through reason’s lens, the world appears a gift,

Yet passions surge, untamed and undefiled.

I think, and thus I am, this truth I claim,

A spark of self within the boundless void.

Yet in the mirror of the world’s great frame,

The self dissolves, its boundaries destroyed.

For we are not alone, though lone we seem,

Our lives are threads within a vast design.

Each action ripples, echoing the dream,

Of unity, where stars and spirits shine.

So let us live as members of one whole,

Each thought, each act, a fragment of the soul.
