If you are an over-worked mid career professional,
then be assured that it was me 15 years back,; without recognizing these values then,
And I complained and cribbed a lot.
After all, one expects to be rewarded after all that difficult work to have managed in no time, and
have saved a sizeable budget for the organization..
It got repeated in 4 organizations I had changed by then.
But something also started happening in my life time and again despite the circumstances.
On hindsight, I see them as huge blessings!
My values always were there, dont you think?
We evolve always. of course.
In that process, we refine ourselves though
So I was spotted and have been recruited as I looked for better opportunities.
I was recruited as a Gender Institutional Manager although my experience has been that of a social researcher with the skills of data management and analysis
I got receruited to help women of village level and Panchayat level Cooperatives to overcome basic health problems, and I saw that in a particular village my interventions could break the recurrent cycles of Malaria-checken px-typhoid with introduction of mushroom in their meals.
Mushroom cultivation made a village east square meals which were malnourished before
The regular money flow because of it made the ladies the leaders taking their savings to more than Rs. 1 lakh in their cooperatives..
and
I was given responsibilities to train 12000 volunteers to cover 45 lakh women in 2 months of time for bank account opeaning
Designed HR policy, and thereby getting recruited to a national level company of 5000+ employees..
and this is when I found myself in the thick of unbelievable targets ..being assigned as well as achieving those
How did I do that?
But more important than that is..
I was enjoying those challenges..
and

I was not looking to be the boss anymore
because
at whatever level I was,
I was now personally being mentored by our Chairman, who a cleberated finance person at national and international level..
I could sense that it is foolish of me to have been after small rewards..
because
I could achieve much more than that
if , I could work on the process of
those 4 steps..
Very interesting
but,
Outrageously unattended areas
I tried those 4 processes with my colleagues and ex-colleagues
within and
outside the organization
It has worked time and again.
It is a process to be undertaken individually..
