Thursday July 5......Really?

It's the day after Wednesday July 4 and it's a normal business day.......so I'm told. I'm reviewing the numerous Out Of Office alerts, and i'm reminded that today I only have to make coffee for myself and i'm probably only going to need one pot.

As I proceed to call customers and prospective customers, I am stunned at how many people have a voicemail introduction that states "Hello, today is June 29th and.........". Do I leave a voicemail? Will I seem dorky if I do? Should I record this as a contact in my CRM?

No business lunch on the calendar today. The drive-thru at Runza is looking pretty good. As my mind begins to wander, I'm thinking "what could be worse than this self-imposed business gulag"? Through the mental fog, that is my state of mind, it dawns on me:
