Through ISMG’s Lens: The Business of Information Technology | Edition 14
Information Security Media Group (ISMG)
Inform. Educate. Connect. ISMG is a Global Leader in Cybersecurity Education, Intelligence and Research.
Earlier this year, we witnessed a major milestone in Information Security Media Group's (ISMG's) history, where we forged an exciting new partnership with Grey Head Media. Leveraging our combined vision, we are now recalibrating and refreshing our approach to addressing the needs of the CIO community.
Ever since the term ‘CIO’ came into use four decades ago, this position has only become more strategic and indispensable. However, change around it has been a constant, especially in the last two years of the global pandemic. ‘The business of information technology’ is increasingly measured against how digital innovations can help deliver actionable intelligence, manage and secure data, and prepare businesses for the future.?
As catalysts supporting this evolution, CIOs need to run their own shops as a business within the organizations. ISMG’s new platform, CIO.inc , aligns with this philosophy, focusing exclusively on ‘the business of Information Technology,’ leadership and digital innovation while embracing the unique crossover between technology and security - the two key growth enablers today.
Here are some of the technology thought leadership stories from our new global CIO platform:

My all-time favourite book is Adam Grant's 'Give and Take: Why Helping Others Drives Our Success.'?It talks about how important it is to revisit the relationships with colleagues, clients, friends and even competitors, and see how it helps you grow.

With every paradigm shift, the role of CIOs is becoming inevitable. Having worked with global CIO communities for over two decades, my sense is they are one of the most important links to business growth. I urge the CIOs to look at CIO.inc as their own platform and participate with us to get heard and share with the larger global peer network.
