Through-core Current Transformer Connection
Through-core current transformer is generally used in low-voltage systems below 0.5kv system, the use of installation is very convenient, saving the cost of the primary wire in the transformer, such as 200/5 through the core transformer, the primary wire from the center of the transformer through, you can get the standard secondary current, if the primary wire is more than a circle, from the center of the two through the current ratio of 100/5, it is convenient, but also solves the problem of high cost of small ratio current transformer production. The problem of the high cost of making small ratio current transformers is also solved.
Three-phase watt-hour meter (with the current transformer), there are 10 terminals, 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 9, respectively, connected to A, B, and C three pieces of current transformers S1, S2, this is the current loop, the main line must be from L1 to L2; 2, 5, 8, respectively, connected to A, B, C, this is the voltage loop, 10 connected to the zero line; all the S2 with a two-color wire connected and grounded.
Note: The transformer current circuit and the meter phase sequence, can not be connected to the wrong, the wrong connection will be a problem; The voltage circuit can not be connected to the wrong phase sequence with the meter.
