Through An Author's Eye
Ever since I started this newsletter (which is quite very recently) I have been an advocate of seeing things differently, with a unique vision and a keen eye for details. In this article, I will be completely focusing on this aspect of being an author or any artist whose duty is to capture life and enlarge its significance through their art.
To an author, the world should seem different, the way he pursues the minute aspects of the world should be unique, abnormal and sometimes absurd. I am not saying this as a writer, that would be illogical, considering I have no relevance as an author (as of now), I am saying this as someone who has read tons of books. Observed multiple perspectives and narratives of life through different voices.
Just like different genres need different type of narratives, different writers shows this world through their works differently. There are those who focus on the inner turmoil of a character, while others focus on ones surroundings. There are writers whose focus on the character development, there are those who focus on the plot twist, and there are those who focus on the setting.
