Bridging the gap resonates well with my work at Coltraco Ultrasonics as I focus my efforts in delivering our solution to test fire doors in situ, to accurately quantify the air leakage rate through a closed fire door. The current fire door smoke test includes the taping up of the threshold gap during the test, and this is not representative of how that fire door will perform. The glaring omission in the Golden Thread is not to include test procedures, and my own personal view is that these tests are invalid and the test certificates are meaningless. What attracts me to the Ally Method is its foundation upon telling the truth, providing the customer with the critical and complete information to make good decisions. I am profoundly grateful to Marcus, and I am certain that several others are too.
