Thriving REGIO P2P Communities

?The activities of the REGIO Peer2Peer Communities are continuing with plenty of meetings and many more activities underway. Community practitioners are growing in numbers and willing to share experiences and challenges on topics that they face every day.

?

Here is a short recap of last month activities:

?

• In March, the Communities on NRPP and Cohesion Policy, Circular Economy, ACB Roadmaps, and Embedding cooperation held their meetings and all related documents and materials are available on their respective websites of Futurium.
• ?The joint thematic meeting of the DNSH and Selection of Operations gathered over 90 practitioners in Copenhagen on 22-23 March. Topics were related to challenges to implement the DNSH principle in Cohesion policy programmes, practices in projects #appraisal, complaint management, recruitment of external experts, and many more. The meeting was highly appreciated by participants. More meetings are planned for both of the Communities as a follow up of the Copenhagen event.
• The Public procurement Community held its second meeting on 4 April, with a focus on Green Public Procurement and the impact of inflation on Public Procurement procedures with the indexation of prices.

Many more online and in-presence meetings are in the pipeline:

?

• The?Embedding Cooperation Community will continue the work with a third thematic event on 21 April.?Community practitioners will discuss ideas and approaches on how to embed cooperation in calls for proposals.
• The State Aid community features an in-person workshop in Sofia on 26-27 April.
• The Citizen participation Community will hold its fourth thematic meeting on 28 April. Practitioners will focus on the importance of trust in participation processes.

?All other Communities are already planning their next meetings before the summer break. Stay tuned keeping an eye on the Futurium platform.

?Moreover, the European Commission is organising the second series of events for Member States on ‘Good Governance for EU Regional Policy’. On Tuesday 18 April (09:30 – 17:00), the ‘2nd Forum for Managing Authorities: Building Administrative Capacity 2021-2027’ will take place in hybrid format (up to 300 participants in Brussels and additional participants online).
