The average person experiences between four and five episodes of stress every week.?
?
And peak anxiety hits in midlife when you’re advancing a career, raising a family, caring for elders, at full stretch financially, and realising you can’t neglect your body as much as you did and hope it’ll forgive you.

The standard western response to stress is to tough it out.?? Lie on a beach for a week and hope that solves everything.?
?
We need to reset our understanding of and relationship with stress.

I’ve renamed this newsletter The Stress Reset.???

For it to be a weekly guide to managing stress and thriving as a midlife leader.
?
It aligns with the Positive Intelligence programmes I run and what I help many people with through coaching.

Don’t worry if you’re too young for midlife; there’ll be great content for you too.

The aim is to try some Stress Experiments.?? We can’t get fit by reading books about gyms.? We can’t achieve mental fitness by reading books alone.?? What matters is doing.
