12 years ago, I found myself in the same place as you may find yourself right now - overwhelmed, stressed out, and feeling lost. I was frustrated and wondered if this was all life had to offer. I felt alone and had no idea where to turn.

But things have changed for me, and they can for you too. While my journey is still a work in progress, I'm now able to help numerous clients assess and address the things that are keeping them stuck and tap into their unique definitions of success.

I value contribution, and that's why I created this "Thrive-Guide" I want to actively help those who, like me, 12 years ago, are feeling stuck and alone, wondering if there's more to life.

In this thrive-guide, I'll be sharing the tools and tips that have helped me and others break free from chronic stress and move forward to thrive. Let's do this together!"

Chronic Stress- What the heck is that?

So what the heck is Chronic Stress, and is all stress bad for you?

Stress, in the right amounts, can actually be beneficial for us. It can provide us with the motivation, focus, and energy we need to accomplish tasks and meet our goals. It can also help us develop resilience and build our capacity to handle future stressors. However, when stress becomes chronic and overwhelming, it can have negative effects on our physical and mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. The key is finding the right balance of stress that helps us grow and thrive, without becoming detrimental to our lives.

Chronic stress can be defined as an overwhelming amount of stress for too long without any way to release it. It's like a pressure cooker that keeps building up and can lead to a range of negative effects on our mental and physical health. In this guide, we'll explore ways to release stress, learn to manage ongoing stressors, and even embrace the day-to-day stress that helps us grow.

Quick win to increase your skills!

To give you a taste of what's to come, here's a key tip I use to manage day-to-day stress:

Take a moment to visualize all the things going on in your life that are weighing you down. Then, imagine a powerful presence rising through your core, straightening your spine. With this posture, push all the demands and challenges outside of your energy bubble. Notice the space it creates and how you can expand in it. Take a look at all the items outside the bubble and ask yourself: which ones are within my control? Which ones aren't? For the latter, can I accept and let go of them, even for a little while? When you feel ready, bring one of the outside things into your bubble and decide how to respond to it.

As the thrive-guide progresses, I'll share more ideas like this to help you overcome chronic stress and get unstuck. I'll also share client stories and feedback, and other information to help you beat the plague of chronic stress that so many of us face.
