Thrilled to Complete My Internship at Invention Controls!
Over the past few weeks, I had the incredible opportunity to dive deep into the world of electrical and electronic systems during my internship at Invention Controls. It was a rewarding experience that expanded my knowledge and hands-on skills, especially in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems.
Here are some key highlights of what I learned:
?? Day 1: Got an insightful introduction to Invention Controls, their core services, and their role in industrial automation and energy efficiency.
? Day 2-4: Strengthened my understanding of basic electrical principles, components, and motor functionalities.
?? Day 5-6: Explored motor connections (star & delta) and the fundamentals of transformers.
?? Day 7-10: Worked with practical components like contactor switches, DOL starters, and VFDs, learning how to wire and connect these systems to motors.
?? Day 12-14: Honed my soldering and desoldering skills and gained knowledge of advanced components like SMPS, IGBTs, and control cards.
This experience has given me a deeper appreciation for the role of automation in industries and the technical expertise required to keep these systems running smoothly. I'm excited to apply what I’ve learned as I continue to grow in the field of electrical engineering!
A huge thank you to the team at Invention Controls for their guidance and support throughout this journey. Looking forward to what the future holds!
