Here are some top tips you can follow to make your change plan work for you organisation:?
- Communicate. Have a communications action plan. Use clear, simple communications that explain why the new IT system is being introduced and what it will enable the organisation to start (or stop) doing.?
- Engage. Alongside the communications to your people, engage with them and listen. This feedback is precious. It can help you overcome resistance to change. And importantly, your front-line teams will know the day-to-day challenges they face now and how those will be impacted by the change (hopefully the changes will help resolve the challenges).?
- Support. Train your people so that they understand how they need to change how they work. This will help them adapt. Support your teams as the transition progresses towards business-as-usual.?
