"When is the best time to post on LinkedIn?"
While I wish I could provide a one-size-fits-all answer, the reality is a bit more nuanced. Let's break it down.
There is a really simple reason the time I recommend can change from client to client...
Every organisation's answer is going to be influenced?by what you want to achieve and who you're talking to.?
Understanding your audience is paramount. A university student about to graduate, studying for exams and looking at work opportunities is going to use LinkedIn differently from a philanthropist with 30 years career experience.?
Who is your audience and how do they live their lives?
Hot tip - don't forget about time zones! Your LinkedIn connections might span different states or even countries. Even if you're posting at the optimal time for your location, it might not align with the schedule of someone following you from Canada or Sri Lanka, for example.
Your goals also really matter. Consider your objectives when posting.
If you want immediate action—like clicks on a link, donations, or video views—think about?your audience and what they may be doing. Mornings might be hectic for quick actions, but a well-timed story could still still capture attention.
