Three Steps to Write Compelling Recommendations

Three Steps to Write Compelling Recommendations

Written testimonials open doors and close deals. They are often the reason consumers choose one company over another.

If a business consultant, marketing professional or perhaps a lawyer did a great job for you, you can show your appreciation and boost your business relationship with them by writing a LinkedIn recommendation or Google review. They can also use that testimonial on their website. What's the best way to do it?

I've been interviewing my clients' clients for more than 25 years and have written more than a thousand testimonials for their marketing. To learn how I can write client testimonials for you, go to www.testimonialwritingservice.com or contact me at 770-565-1231 or [email protected].

Here are the three steps for you to write compelling recommendations:

  1. Define the PROBLEM. What was the challenge, pain point or even opportunity? What prompted you to engage this person and why did you want a solution?
  2. Describe the EXPERIENCE. What are the qualities of this person and how did they work with you? Were they detail-oriented, knowledgeable, budget-conscious or easy-going? In addition to adjectives, consider sharing a brief example of how they displayed those qualities. For example, did they use a unique, time-saving process or were you impressed with how they handled an unexpected issue that arose?
  3. Detail the OUTCOME. How did their product or service help you make or save money, or enhance your life?

By using the Problem + Experience + Outcome Formula and keeping it brief and sincere, you will write recommendations that support those who support you.

Tricia, having happy clients who love your business is wonderful. Having happy clients articulate that they love it and why is priceless. That's why your testimonial writing service is so fabulous. In this busy world, people may lack the time or experience to express their feelings in a compelling, authentic way. You make it quick and easy for both the giver and the receiver. You capture the voice of the person giving the testimonial. They feel great supporting a business they value. And the business can share those words of support to bring new, happy clients to their business. If you'd like to see a sampling of the testimonials Tricia did for VirtualBoard, the peer-to-peer learning group I run for Business Owners and Entrepreneurs seeking trusted advice as they navigate business challenges and prepare their companies and themselves for a successful exit, please click here:https://www.virtualboard.com/testimonials-1 I'm sure you'll see why I recommend Tricia Molloy and her testimonial writing service without reserve. #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #ceolife #mastermindgroup #smallbusinessowner #smallbusinessgrowth #VirtualBoard
