Let me use an analogy to help you understand.?

Let’s say you have a house, and you want to expand it with an additional room. How are you going to do it??

You don’t just work on the new room. You need to follow a systematic approach.?

1st, assess the house to identify structural improvements needed for the expansion.

2nd, enhance the fundamental structure to get ready for the expansion.?

3rd, build the additional room and complete the expansion.

In order to improve your English so you can improve your job performance and secure future career opportunities, you need to follow these 3 steps

1. Solidify your Communication Foundation

This is needed so you understand the business culture in English speaking countries and the key vocabulary in your industry, so you can better express yourself.

This can be achieved by expanding your business vocabulary so you are confident using expressions, phrases and idioms, allowing you to develop greater rapport with native speakers.?

2. Improving your Communication Efficacy?

This is essential so you develop your communication clarity and fluency, so you are understood by your colleagues and clients.?

You can achieve this by improving your pronunciation, syllable stress and intonation, so you sound more clear and natural to native speakers.?

3. Advancing your Professional Communication?

You want to make sure that you communicate confidently and comfortably in situations that are important to you; whether that is an interview or a presentation.??

To achieve this you must practice. And then more practice. Role plays are an excellent way of practicing real life situations and are essential in advancing your professional communication.
