Three Questions A Millionaire Asked

Three Questions A Millionaire Asked

Before you set your goals for 2022, you want to ask yourself three important questions.

Anyone committed to success wants
to use this approach.

Reviewing all the circumstances in our lives won't get us where we want to go. We want to have an idea of our vision for the future.

We defeat ourselves by worrying about how we will arrive at the goal. We begin by creating a vision.

MEET JACK

Although Jack was a millionaire, he was frustrated because he couldn't get out of a rut. He achieved the same results each year with little or no improvement, and he realized this would lead to a dead end.

"Pamela, I work hard, but I can't seem to get any traction," Jack told me in our first meeting.

"Jack," I said, There are some scientific reasons why you are stuck. Let's briefly review them before we begin with your new action plan."

10 THINGS JACK HAD TO UNDERSTAND

  1. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
  2. Our brains are resistant to doing anything new, and it wants to stay in a comfort zone by avoiding any actions that seem uncomfortable.?
  3. Research tells us that?95% of our thinking?is habitual, and up to 80% of that thinking is negative.?
  4. Our brains have an agenda to incorporate our daily actions and behaviors into habits, so we do them automatically and without too much thought – this frees up our brainpower for emergencies.
  5. Our brains save energy by forming habits.
  6. From the brain's perspective, routines make our lives easier, but it makes it harder to get rid of bad habits like overeating, distractions of social media, drinking too much, anger, and the list could go on.
  7. The brain seeks easy rewards, foods, alcohol, bad habits.
  8. The battle begins when we want to make significant changes,?
  9. Our brain wants us to continue with old habits even if they are harmful, destructive, or self-sabotaging.
  10. Worry is another habit that saves energy because the brain only has to think the same thoughts over and over again repeatedly.

JACK BEGAN WITH THE REVERSE ENGINEERING GUIDE?

Jack realized we were using a scientific approach to help him get out of the rut and to achieve his goals. This excited him.

"I love this approach!" Jack said.

Once Jack started with his vision, then took an inventory of his current situation, we were able to create an action plan that propelled him out of his rut.

The following year, Jack almost tripled his success. Now he swears by this method.

He says,

"Preparing my goals without understanding the science about how my brain works was an unwise pattern I followed for years.
Now I include this new information
in everything I do."

Loved the article Pamela DeNeuve. Especially the 3 questions as I feel those are the only questions we need to ask ourselves to know where we are currently present. Thanks for sharing!

Three of my favorite questions. One of the things I try not to have them consider are "mistakes", "failures", or that went wrong. I think that using those words can put them in a mindset that may not allow them to move forward. I see them as just additional actions that we can learn from.
