THREE NEW FOREIGN EXAM CENTRES ADDED FOR JEE ADVANCED
Three new exam centers overseas have been included besides the 229 exam centers in India, as per the exam city list for JEE advanced 2024 released by the exam-conducting institute IIT Madras. The new foreign centers include Abu Dhabi, Kathmandu, and Dubai. Post the pandemic, this is the first time after four consecutive years, that JEE Advanced will be conducted on foreign shores. Before 2020, the IIT entrance exam was conducted in multiple foreign countries, including centers in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Colombo (Shri Lanka), Dhaka (Bangladesh), Dubai(UAE), Kathmandu (Nepal) and Singapore. This year, the new centers have been strategically chosen so that students who reside in those areas can give their JEE advance more easily without having to fly to India to participate in the exam and incur additional expenses.
