Have you implemented screen saver locks on your computers after 10 minutes or so?
There are a number of reasons that you need to ensure that unattended computers are locked.
As an internal deterrent to stop other staff members from using an account they should not have access to.
As an external deterrent to ensure that if someone gets into your office and uses a computer that is not locked that can access assets and data that they should not have access to
It is highly recommended that all computers, phones and tablets have a locked process where you need a user name and password to access the information on the system.
This can be done at a computer level or at a domain level and it is highly recommended in most business situations.
If you get up from your computer (Microsoft) lock it (CTRL/ALT/Delete)
Have you implemented and informed your teams about security around using "FREE" Wi-Fi for business?
Free WIFI is everywhere.
Most retail shops, fast food outlets and facilities have free WIFI in some shape or form.
If the free WIFI has a log-on page (html) where you have to put in your email address and answer some questions do not use it as the bad guys can replicate it and hack you when you connect to their connection
If the WIFI does not require a passcode do not use it (preferably only connect to WPA2 / 3 systems).
If you do not have a passcode on your home/office WIFI put one on it now and make sure it is WPA2 or 3.
If you have connected to a WIFI that does not require a password remove the system from your phone, tablet and/or laptop.
If you do not, a cybercriminal can connect to your device using that account when they are nowhere near the original location and access your system.

Have you addressed and questioned the amount of information that you or your sales and marketing teams are collecting.
In business, collecting all of the information about a client can seem necessary but there are 2 questions you need to ask.
Do we need all of that information
What are we going to do with the information
All of the information that most businesses collect is never used and the more information you collect the more protection you have to secure.
If you are not going to use the information then do not collect it.
Do not collect DOB, passport numbers, or license numbers unless it is vital to the processes within the business.
When you collect the information you have to tell people what you are going to do with it and how that information will be used.
If you use it for any other purpose you are in breach of most governance requirements.
Basic information - name, address, phone number and email is the place to start and then have your marketing and sales team JUSTIFY why they need to collect more.
